About CodeMeme

Over my years as a software developer, I have benefited greatly from free open-source software.  As such, I believe that writing my own FOSS and sending it back out into the world is an important way to pay back what I’ve gained from all those other projects.

On this site, you will find details on my free (as in speech) projects that you can use for your own ends.  If you would like to contact me about one of my projects or about hiring me, please check out my contact form.  Here are just some of the things I can do for you:

  • Custom WordPress development
  • Advanced PHP applications
  • Working with 3rd party API platforms
  • Rich Javascript and Ajax front-end applications

Flickr Gallery

Initially, this plugin was created for the simple reason that I wanted to display my Flickr photos on my webpage.  I had a much sloppier solution in place, but I wanted a good, solid one that other people could use.

Features:

  • Easy insertion into posts/pages with shortcodes
  • Display full galleries or single photos
  • Supports Flickr video playback
  • Fully Flickr TOS compliant
  • New lightbox for viewing larger versions of photos without leaving the page.
  • Extensible tabs for the full gallery display.
